I have always loved art. I went to college to study art. As I got older, this love never faded, and I continued to work in related fields, dabbling in a lot of art forms but hardly had time to paint for myself.
Training in Western Abstract painting has been transformative, it gave me a sense of direction. I have been painting very seriously since 5 years, and have no plans to stop.
I predominantly paint with acrylics on the substrate, combining it with charcoal, inks, pastels, and crayons.
An integral part of my artistic process involves mark making, color blocking, painting over, and sanding back to reveal some of the hidden layers underneath.
Each idea manifests in its style.
Working as an artist and teacher, I am immersed and saturated in all things art. Exercising the creative muscles is something I get to do every day.
Drawing from the rhythmic motions of everyday chores and the subtle interplay of light and shadow, I strive to capture the essence of these moments in my art.
My art is a visceral response to the world's overlooked beauty—the poetry in mundane tasks, the dance of shapes, hues, and layers. Through abstract expressionism, I distill these elements into emotive compositions.
There’s something about the process that puts me in a state of flow, where I can let go of life’s distractions and just be. Each stroke is an exploration of raw emotion, guided by intuition and spontaneity. I capture the essence of fleeting moments, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the energy and rhythm of my creations.
By embracing the ordinary and elevating it to the extraordinary, I aim to ignite a sense of wonder and connection in those who engage with my work. My creativity comes from the heart with my unique vision; I hope to inspire others to see the world around them in a new and exciting light.
